Job summary

NSCD is seeking an Equipment and Facilities Specialist to support equipment setup, maintenance and client service for adaptive outdoor programs in Colorado. You will assist in fitting equipment, test and repair adaptive gear, and drive vehicles as needed, ensuring safety and accuracy in all tasks.

The role requires hands-on shop work, documentation, and strong teamwork with staff and volunteers. Seasonal, full-time with 30-40 hours weekly, weekend/evening flexibility is expected.

Qualifications

• Ski/snowboard rental shop experience with a background in mechanics and tools required.
• Boot fitting knowledge, including canting and foot bed construction.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Must be computer proficient and possess experience in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and assess and change priorities based upon agency needs.

Responsibilities

• Set-up adaptive equipment for group and individual lessons.
• Assembles, inspects, maintains and modifies equipment for programs.
• Operate equipment including shop tools and computers as required.
• Completes documentation and record keeping for NSCD and manufacturers.
• Maintain participant records and safety procedures.
