Job summary

Adaptive Adventures in Westminster, Colorado is seeking an Adaptive Sports Coordinator to plan, coordinate and deliver high-quality adaptive recreation programs across Colorado, with occasional travel nationwide. This in-person role requires evenings and weekends to meet program schedules.

You will collaborate with the Program Team to develop opportunities in cycling, climbing, kayaking, skiing and other activities, recruit volunteers, manage risk, and ensure program success.

Qualifications

• Experience in adaptive sports or related fields preferred.
• Ability to lead and to follow as needed.
• Willingness to perform manual labor and travel with varied schedule.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with program team to establish goals and opportunities in cycling, climbing, kayaking, paddleboarding, dragon boat racing, and skiing.
• Coordinate resources including supplies, venues, volunteers and participant recruitment.
• Deliver program procedures and ensure safety and risk management.
• Recruit and train volunteers and interns.
• Perform post-event duties including data entry and reporting.
• Maintain equipment and transport as needed.
• Provide direct client services and instruction.
