Job summary

Spectrum Center Schools and Programs is seeking an Adaptive Physical Educator to deliver IEP-aligned PE services to students in grades K-12 across CA program sites. The role emphasizes data-based progress reporting, collaboration with clinical teams, and ensuring standards-based instruction.

The position requires a CA Adaptive Physical Education credential (or in process) and experience with IEPs, PBIS, and related supports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in education or related field.
• Adaptive Physical Education credential required or in process.
• California driver's license or ability to obtain one.
• Experience with IEP/ITP documentation and PBIS.
• Strong communication and data reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver IEP/ITP-aligned adaptive physical education services weekly.
• Develop and implement standards-aligned curriculum for K-12 students.
• Create individualized schedules aligned to IEP goals.
• Collaborate with supervisors and families on progress and planning.
• Maintain accurate data in student records and systems.
• Assist and mentor staff in implementing related-service goals.
• Participate in IEP meetings and present progress with data.
