Job summary

Spectrum Center Schools and Programs is seeking an Adaptive Physical Educator to support K-12 students with IEP-directed PE services at multiple California locations. The role emphasizes delivering evidence-based instruction, tracking progress with data, and coordinating with special education teams to maximize access and participation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or related field.
• Licensed currently or in process to obtain Adaptive Physical Educator credential.
• CA driver license or ability to obtain one.
• Experience with adaptive physical education in K-12 or similar settings.
• Strong knowledge of IEPs/PBIS and related compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver adaptive physical education aligned to each student's IEP/ITP objectives.
• Document progress with data-driven reporting and progress notes.
• Develop individualized schedules to advance service goals.
• Collaborate with instructional and clinical teams to support student outcomes.
• Maintain accurate data in student records and data systems.
