Job summary

Banner Health is seeking an ADA Specialist within the Employee Engagement team in Phoenix. The role focuses on managing the ADA interactive process, ensuring compliance, and supporting labor relations across the Banner System.

You will handle complex accommodation cases, coordinate with HR, legal and external agencies, and provide ADA education to partners. A bachelor’s degree and HR experience are required, with flexible start times and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Three years in HR, with two years in ADA interactive process.
• Familiarity with FMLA and ADA regulations.
• Experience with recruitment, benefits, or HR processes helpful.

Responsibilities

• Engage in the interactive process for accommodations with team members and leaders.
• Document actions and interactions in the Case Management system.
• Prepare and analyze reports for HR leadership.
• Coordinate leaves and escalated disability issues with benefits and payroll.
• Lead placement conversations with HR and Recruitment.
• Advise on accommodation management and compliance with policies.
