Job summary

The Raley's Companies is seeking an Accommodations Specialist to support disabled and injured team members by facilitating workplace accommodations and return-to-work solutions. You will ensure ADA compliance, manage leave programs, and collaborate with medical providers and business partners for positive outcomes.

This in-person role is based in West Sacramento, CA, with no remote option, and travels to assist with process implementation and training as needed.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience managing leave of absence and accommodation programs.
Workers' compensation benefits administration experience preferred.
Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.

Responsibilities

Lead interactive process for employees with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities.
Identify accommodation and return-to-work options that meet medical restrictions.
Review job descriptions and medical docs to evaluate accommodation options.
Coordinate with leaders to implement and monitor accommodation requests.
Communicate return-to-work status and accommodation decisions to stakeholders.
Maintain documentation and case activity from injury through reinstatement.
Support claim resolution with Risk Management and workers' comp providers.
Administer accommodation and return-to-work processes and escalations.
Provide ongoing communication with impacted team members throughout the process.
Design and deliver leave and ADA compliance training for leaders.
