Job summary

TELUS Health is seeking an experienced Integrated ADA/PWFA and FMLA specialist to lead leave and disability case management in a primarily remote environment in the United States. You will analyze, adjudicate, and communicate decisions on FMLA, STD, and state leaves, ensuring compliance and seamless accommodation planning.

You’ll collaborate with employers, providers, and HR to support timely return-to-work outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of direct experience managing Leaves, STD, and ADA/PWFA claims.
• Strong regulatory expertise in ADA, PWFA, FMLA and state leaves.
• Ability to work online in a paperless environment.
• Excellent communication and confidentiality.
• Experience coordinating with providers, clients, and case managers.

Responsibilities

• Manage and process FMLA and other federal leaves, military leaves, state leaves, company specific and STD claims.
• Advise on reasonable accommodations under ADA/PWFA.
• Conduct case assessments with employees and HR via phone or email.
• Develop and document return-to-work plans and accommodations.
• Review information and consult medical resources to confirm decisions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory timeframes for claims.
• Communicate case updates and maintain proactive relationships with stakeholders.
• Attend meetings and trainings as required.
• Handle other projects as assigned.
