Job summary

Ascension is hiring for a full-time, day-shift role in the Telemetry department at Ascension Seton Hays, Austin, TX. The caregiver will assist with movement, daily living activities, and patient care while maintaining clean rooms and equipment, and reporting changes to nursing staff.

Required credentials include BLS Provider within 30 days of hire, plus one or more NCCT/NHA/Infant Feeding Technician certifications within 180 days.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider required within 1 Month of hire date (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• One or more of the following credentials: NCCT, NHAA, Infant Feeding Technician Certificate obtained within 6 Months of hire date.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • One or more of the following:
    • Patient Care credentialed from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
    • Patient Care credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
    • Patient Care specializing in Nutrition Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Infant Feeding Technician Certificate

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. *Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
