Qualifikationen

• Requires the ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision and to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

• Verifies patient demographics and inputs information into the EHR to maximize reimbursement and minimize denials.
• Proficiently verifies insurance benefits and supports admission, obstetrics, and outpatient services.
• Generates patient estimates for services rendered and provides financial counseling to patients.
• Communicates clearly with patients about financial obligations and assists with payment plans or Banner Financial Assistance as needed.
• Submits authorization and verifies payer requirements to minimize denials and ensure smooth intake.
• Ensures compliance with CMS and insurance guidelines during the registration process.
• Performs various patient services and may assist with deposits and daily reconciliations.
• Maintains quality customer service as the first impression of Banner Health’s patient experience.
• Works in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and prioritizes tasks effectively.
