Banner Staffing Services-AZ is seeking an Acute Patient Access Services Representative to support Main Admitting and backup ER/outpatient teams. You will verify demographics, insurance eligibility, estimate patient costs, and collect liability in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Role requires 2+ years of customer service and comfort discussing financial matters with patients. Shifts include Day/Night and weekends; training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years of customer service experience.
• Healthcare experience is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Verify demographics and input into the EHR accurately to maximize reimbursement.
• Provide front-line patient intake and registration in a high-volume setting.
• Explain insurance benefits and obtain authorizations.
• Discuss financial liability and help with payment plans.
• Support both clinical and non-clinical teams as needed.
• Handle funds, deposits, and daily reconciliations as assigned.
