Job summary

Prisma Health seeks an experienced registered nurse to join the Facility Resource Pool at Richland Hospital. The role provides clinical direction for patient care in an acute inpatient setting, emphasizing patient/family centered care and evidence-based nursing processes.

You will collaborate with physicians and the health care team, develop care plans, monitor patient outcomes, and ensure safety and compliance. Weekend, holiday, and on-call work may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Two years of experience as a registered nurse.
• Must hold a current RN license recognized in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical direction for patient care in an acute inpatient setting.
• Develop and update individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families and the care team.
• Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and communicate plans of care across the healthcare team.
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to policy, infection control and quality improvement initiatives.
• Document care and outcomes accurately and timely.
• Serve as patient advocate and coordinate care across shifts.
