Job summary

Prisma Health Richland Hospital is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct patient care in an acute inpatient setting within the Emergency Department. The role includes nursing assessment, care planning, and collaboration with the care team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

The RN will adhere to regulatory standards, safety protocols, and hospital policies, including performance improvement and infection control. Weekend/holiday/on-call work may be required.

Qualifications

• Education - Associate degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience - One year as a registered nurse.
• RN licensure required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop care plans.
• Provide direct patient care per established nursing plan.
• Collaborate with interprofessional team to coordinate care.
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to clinical policies.
