Job summary

Prisma Health’s Richland Hospital seeks a registered nurse to provide direct patient care in an acute inpatient setting within the Facility Resource Pool. The role requires flexibility to float to various nursing units and to work weekends, holidays, and on call as needed.

Responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, developing care plans with patients and families, and ensuring safety and quality through evidence-based practice and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing completed.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Collects data and completes nursing assessment utilizing appropriate area and/or age specific standards/policies and tools. Validates priorities with the healthcare team.
• Develops an individual plan of care based on the patient’s needs in collaboration with the patient/family, physician, and team.
• Identifies realistic, measurable goals and outcomes to be attained prior to discharge.
• Provides direct care to assigned patients per the established nursing plan.
• Assumes responsibility for patient safety and maintains a safe environment.
• Utilizes technology in daily practice and participates in quality improvement initiatives.

Education

Associate degree in Nursing
