Job summary

Prisma Health in Richland, SC seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to provide clinical direction in an acute inpatient setting. You will apply evidence-based practices in assessment, planning, and evaluation while supporting safety, quality, and cost-containment initiatives.

The role may include weekend, holiday, and on-call shifts. A bonus-eligible position and opportunities for staff development are available.

Qualifications

• Education - Associate degree in Nursing. Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Experience - One (1) year experience as a registered nurse.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical direction for all aspects of patient care in an acute inpatient setting.
• Collects data and completes nursing assessment utilizing appropriate standards and tools.
• Develops an individual plan of care in collaboration with patient/family and interdisciplinary team.
• Updates the plan as patient condition changes and communicates changes.
• Performs direct care to assigned patients consistent with the nursing plan.
• Ensures patient safety and adheres to policies and procedures.
