InfuCare Rx in the United States is seeking an Intake Coordinator-Acute to manage insurance verification, authorizations, and patient financial counseling, coordinating with caregivers, physicians, and internal teams to ensure seamless intake.

You will verify coverage with various health plans, obtain prior authorizations, handle records, collaborate with pharmacists, nurses and drivers, support revenue goals, and maintain HIPAA-compliant practices while delivering compassionate service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• 2+ years experience as an Intake/Authorization Coordinator.
• Strong communication, reading, writing and speaking skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate intake: benefits verification, authorization, and patient financial counseling.
• Identify coverage guidelines and obtain prior authorizations as needed.
• Maintain accurate and complete records; coordinate with Caregivers, Physicians and stakeholders.
• Communicate with patients, physicians' offices, insurers and revenue teams to optimize billing.
• Collaborate with Pharmacists, Nurses, IV Techs and Drivers to meet goals.
• Support HIPAA compliance and professional conduct; assist with office duties as needed.
