Job summary

KabaFusion is hiring an Intake Representative (Acute) in Carmel, IN to process referrals, verify insurance, and enroll patients in acute therapies such as TPN, IV antibiotics, and inotropic medications. You will collaborate with departments to ensure exceptional patient care with every interaction.

Primary duties include gathering data, handling eligibility and authorizations, and completing start of care paperwork while guiding patients on financial obligations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of HCPC, ICD-10 and CPT codes.
• At least 2 years of intake experience including eligibility and authorization.

Responsibilities

• Initiates intake process, gathers relevant data from referral sources, and completes intake paperwork.
• Verifies insurance and eligibility and obtains authorizations when necessary.
• Completes start of care paperwork.
• Contacts patients to confirm information and notify them of their financial obligation.
