Job summary

U.S. Renal Care is seeking an Acute Registered Nurse to deliver dialysis care in a hospital setting. You will perform treatments, supervise Patient Care Technicians and LVNs, and report to the Acute Manager.

You will participate in readiness, safety checks, water quality verification, and documentation. The role supports quality metrics and patient outcomes while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in applicable state or compact.
• 12 months or more nursing experience preferred.
• Previous dialysis nursing experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to pass color screening.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of English.
• Proficient in hospital computer systems and USRC applications.
• Meet any state practice act requirements.

Responsibilities

• Administer dialysis treatments as ordered by physician.
• Supervise and coordinate with Patient Care Technicians and LVNs.
• Document patient data and treatment outcomes accurately.
• Perform water quality verification and equipment safety checks.
• Ensure infection control and safety procedures are followed.
• Communicate patient needs and concerns to the physician and hospital staff.
