Job summary

U.S. Renal Care is seeking an Acute Registered Nurse to provide dialysis care within a hospital environment.

This role includes supervising Patient Care Technicians and LVNs, performing water quality checks, and ensuring patient safety according to physician orders and hospital policy. The ideal candidate will have an active RN license, CPR certification, and prior dialysis experience, with strong documentation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in applicable state or compact.
• 12 months or more nursing experience preferred.
• Previous dialysis nursing experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to pass color screening.
• Demonstrated English language communication and writing skills.
• Must have basic computer skills; proficiency in USRC applications within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide acute dialysis care and treatment to hospital patients.
• Supervise Patient Care Technicians and Licensed Vocational Nurses as directed.
• Perform water quality verification and equipment safety checks before each treatment.
• Set up dialysis machines and report problems to biomedical staff as appropriate.
• Document patient care and nursing records accurately and timely.
• Participate in infection control monitoring and reporting.
