Job summary

Acute Dialysis Care seeks a Registered Nurse to provide professional nephrology dialysis care in acute hospital and sub-acute facilities under contract with our Company.

The RN will initiate and discontinue renal replacement therapies, monitor patient status, document in medical records, and collaborate with physicians and hospital teams. Requires 1 year RN experience; dialysis exposure preferred. Shift is 12 hours, four days per week, with flexibility for additional days or hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license in the state of Nevada.
• ADN/BSN or diploma in nursing; substitution allowed.
• Dialysis nursing experience in acute or chronic settings preferred but not required.
• CNN/CDN/CHN certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Attends orientation and mandatory meetings, in-services, and continuing education if available.
• Interacts with hospital partners in a collaborative, respectful manner with proper reporting to hospital RN/Staff.
• Initiates and discontinues prescribed renal replacement therapy per physician orders.
• Plans and provides patient care for adults per physician orders and hospital/Company policies.
• Documents dialysis activity and patient interactions in medical records and reporting tools.
• Monitors patient assessments, vital signs, and treatment responses; communicates with nephrologist as needed.
• Documents, evaluates and implements dialysis orders.
• Ensures timely submission of charges and documentation.
