Qualifications

• RN license in the state of practice.

• Experience in nephrology nursing or dialysis preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties under supervision with guidance from Educator or RN.
• Collects and analyzes patient data during dialysis and documents in the medical record.
• Educates patients and families on care basics.
• Communicates patient status changes to the health team.
• Delivers safe, effective care for dialysis procedures as prescribed.
• Coordinates with facility and staff to ensure continuity of care.
• Administers medications as prescribed and monitors responses.
• Participates in on-call rotations and quality improvement activities.
