Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an experienced RN CAP 2 for inpatient dialysis care. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for a designated group of patients, coordinating with RNs, LVNs/LPNs and technicians as needed.

The role involves teaching, leadership, and participation in quality improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes and program operations, with on-call and travel requirements as needed.

Qualifications

• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful CPR/BLS certification.
• Must meet practice requirements in all states employed.
• Entry level RN CAP 2 with 2+ years nephrology nursing experience in last 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient data collection and analysis during dialysis; adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Document patient data in medical records and notify supervisors/physicians of changes.
• Educate patients and families on treatment and care plans; address learning needs.
• Coordinate with supervisors, physicians, and facility staff to ensure continuity of care.
