Keck Medicine of USC is seeking an Registered Nurse to support the Chief Nursing Officer in leading the patient care team, ensuring safety, recovery and comfort for patients while implementing the nursing process and education plan. The role involves collaboration with department leaders, delivery of quality care, adherence to CMS/Title 22 and other standards, and education for staff.

Qualifications

• Graduation from Registered Nurse Program.
• BSN desired (if not upon hire, will obtain within 5 years preferred).
• 1 year clinical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Experience in treating ortho and stroke patient population preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist charge nurse with planning delivery of patient care for the shift.
• Precepting and competency validating new hires and to new procedures.
• Teaching nursing students.
• Communicating expectations to assigned staff (interventions; report back; etc.).
• Coordinating the assigned team and improving unit performance.
