Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required.
• BSN preferred.
• Current Iowa RN license and BLS required.
• ACLS required if telemetry monitoring is used or recommended.

Responsibilities

• Initial assessment within 30 minutes of admission.
• Develops an outcome-based plan of care with the team.
• Implements care plan and coordinates with physicians and nurses.
• Discharge planning, patient education and referrals as needed.
• Manage telemetry when applicable and monitor patient status.
• Maintain safety, infection control and documentation.
