Job summary

Providence Holy Cross Medical Center is seeking an Acute Care Pharmacy Tech II to support filling and dispensing unit dose and stock meds to nursing units and ancillary departments. You will triage orders, dispense oral and IV meds, and ensure the Automated Dispensing System remains accurate and secure.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• California Pharmacy Technician License required on hire.
• California Fire and Life Safety Card within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum 1 year pharmacy practice with PTCB, or 2 years hospital pharmacy without PTCB.

Responsibilities

• Fill and dispense unit dose and stock medications to nursing units and other departments.
• Fill/dispense oral and IV medications and triage patient orders.
• Maintain the integrity of the Automated Dispensing System (ADS).
