Job summary

The Covenant Hobbs Hospital Pharmacy is seeking an Acute Care Pharmacy Tech II to support filling and dispensing unit dose and stock medications to nursing units and other departments, while ensuring accuracy and ADS integrity.

Required qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, NM BOP licensure or Texas licensure options, PTCB certification, and at least 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience (or 2 years if not PTCB certified).

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• NM Pharmacy Technician license or Texas licensure (Trainee or Registered) required at hire.
• Minimum of 1 year (>2080 hours) pharmacy practice in an integrated health system with current PTCB certification OR 2 years (>4160 hours) hospital pharmacy if not PTCB certified.

Responsibilities

• Filling and dispensing unit dose and stock medications from the pharmacy to nursing units and other departments.
• Fill/dispense oral and IV medications, triaging patient orders and maintaining the integrity of the ADS (Automated Dispensing System).

Education

H.S. Diploma or GED.
