Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a PRN Pharmacy Technician II Certified at Holy Cross Hospital Mountain Point in Lehi, UT. Under a pharmacist's supervision, you will prepare and dispense medications, compound IV solutions, manage inventory, and handle drug distribution while adhering to state, federal, and hospital policies.

You will perform clerical tasks, maintain aseptic technique, and stay current with regulatory standards and hospital protocols to ensure safe, accurate, and compliant pharmacy

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 6 months of IV medication compounding experience is required.
• Registered Pharmacy Technician in the state of Utah.
• Active CPT-EXCPT/CPT-PTCB/CPHT certification in good standing as required by the state.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, distributes, and delivers medications in compliance with policies, regulations, and department procedures.
• Performs clerical and administrative tasks to support daily operations.
• Maintains medication and supply stock levels and operates automated delivery systems.
• Participates in quality assurance programs and maintains documentation.
• Trained and certified in IV admixture preparation, including handling hazardous/chemotherapy medications as applicable.
• Performs related duties as required.
