Job summary

Covenant Hobbs Hospital is hiring an Acute Care Pharmacy Tech II to support filling and dispensing unit dose and stock meds to nursing units and departments. You will fill oral and IV meds, triage orders, and maintain the automated dispensing system in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Required NM license or TX tech credentials upon hire, plus 1 year of pharmacy practice in an integrated health system with PTCB certification (or 2 years hospital experience if not certified).

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• New Mexico Pharmacy Technician license upon hire.
• Texas Pharmacy Technician Trainee or Texas Registered Technician license on hire.
• Minimum 1 year of pharmacy practice in an integrated health system with PTCB certification, or 2 years hospital pharmacy without PTCB.

Responsibilities

• Fill/dispense unit dose and stock medications accurately.
• Triaged patient orders and maintained ADS integrity.
