Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED is required.
• California Pharmacy Technician License is required on hire.
• California Fire and Life Safety Card must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum of one year (2080 clock hours) of pharmacy practice in an integrated health system with current PTCB certification, or two years (4160 hours) in hospital pharmacy without PTCB.

Responsibilities

• Fill and dispense unit dose and stock medications from the pharmacy to nursing units and other departments.
• Fill/dispense oral and IV medications.
• Triaging patient orders and maintaining the integrity of the automated dispensing system (ADS).
