Job summary

Covenant Jobs at Covenant Hobbs Hospital in Hobbs, NM, seeks an Acute Care Pharmacy Tech II to support filling and dispensing unit dose and stock medications to nursing units and other departments. You will handle oral and IV meds, triage orders, and maintain the integrity of the ADS.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, NM or TX technician credentials, and PTCB certification or significant hospital pharmacy experience.

Qualifications

H.S. Diploma or GED.
Upon hire: New Mexico Pharmacy Technician - New Mexico Board of Pharmacy or
Upon hire: Texas Pharmacy Technician Trainee or
Upon hire: Texas Registered Pharmacy Technician License.
Minimum of one year (> 2080 clock hours) of pharmacy practice in an integrated health system and current PTCB certification - OR - 2 years (>4160 hours) hospital pharmacy if not PTCB certified.

Responsibilities

Fill/dispense unit dose and stock medications to nursing units and other departments.
Fill/dispense oral and IV medications.
Triaging patient orders and maintaining the integrity of the Automated Dispensing System (ADS).

Texas Pharmacy Technician Trainee
