Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• New Mexico Pharmacy Technician license required on hire.
• Texas Pharmacy Technician Trainee license or Texas Registered Pharmacy Technician License on hire.
• Minimum 1 year of pharmacy practice in an integrated health system with PTCB certification, or 2 years in hospital pharmacy if not PTCB certified.

Responsibilities

• Fill and dispense unit-dose and stock medications to nursing units and other departments.
• Fill/dispense oral and IV medications and triage patient orders.
• Maintain integrity of the automated dispensing system (ADS).

Education

H.S. Diploma or GED

New Mexico Pharmacy Technician license

Texas Pharmacy Technician Trainee license

Texas Registered Pharmacy Technician License
