Job summary

Morrison Healthcare in La Crosse, WI seeks a Patient Food Services Manager to lead the Patient Services Team in an acute care setting. You will set goals, hire and coach staff, and ensure dietary compliance and patient satisfaction.

Preferred candidates hold an Associate or Bachelor's in relevant fields, with 1+ year in food service management in acute care; CDM/RD/RDN preferred. Strong Office and EMR skills are expected, with HIPAA and regulatory compliance emphasis.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with 1 year of work experience in food services or related field; bachelor's degree acceptable
• Certified Dietary Manager, Registered Diet Technician or Registered Dietitian preferred
• Minimum 1 year experience in food service management in acute care setting preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, EMR, and diet office systems

Responsibilities

• Establishes goals and oversees implementation of patient food services needs per medical direction
• Hires, directs, coaches, trains, and develops patient service team members
• Complies with dietary restrictions to meet patient preferences within diet order limitations
• Ensures patient services staff helps achieve patient satisfaction goals
• Complies with regulatory standards (federal/state/accrediting), HIPAA, patient rights
• Leads patient satisfaction programs and Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement initiatives
