Job summary

WTW is seeking an actuarial analyst intern in the Property & Casualty division in the United States. You will work with credentialed actuaries on pricing, reserving, capital modeling, and software implementation for insurance companies.

You will gain exposure to multiple aspects of insurance operations, learning cutting-edge techniques while collaborating with top consultants across industries. The role emphasizes learning, client interaction, and professional credential development.

Qualifications

• Must be legally allowed to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Summer 2026 internship with WTW.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in actuarial science or related quantitative field with GPA ≥ 3.0.
• Actuarial exams completed or in progress is highly preferred.
• Experience demonstrating technical and client service skills; actuarial internship preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills with MS Office; programming/technical skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pricing and development of personal and/or commercial lines insurance products.
• Apply predictive modeling to improve risk segmentation.
• Conduct loss reserve analyses and actuarial reporting.
• Learn WTW proprietary software for project work.
• Pursue actuarial credentials and participate in learning opportunities.
• Build relationships with internal teams and client contacts.
• Document, review, and present work to project teams.
• Help create detailed project plans and monitor progress against deadlines and budgets.
• Adhere to the firm’s Excellence guidelines.
