The internship provides exposure to loss reserve analyses, actuarial reports, and use of WTW proprietary software, with development toward actuarial credentials and collaboration with experienced consultants.

Qualifications

• Complete a Summer 2026 internship with WTW.
• Be legally eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in actuarial science or a quantitative field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Actuarial exams completed or in progress preferred.
• Strong technical and/or client service skills with leadership potential.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel; programming/software skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pricing and development of personal and/or commercial lines insurance products
• Apply predictive modeling techniques to improve risk segmentation
• Perform loss reserve analyses using varied methods and stochastic approaches
• Prepare actuarial reports, Statements of Actuarial Opinion, and Actuarial Opinion Summaries
• Learn and use WTW proprietary software to complete projects
• Participate in learning and development opportunities and progress toward actuarial credentials
• Build relationships with internal colleagues and client representatives
• Document, review, and present work
• Assist in creating detailed project plans
• Monitor project progress against deadlines and budget
• Follow the firm's Excellence guidelines
• Work with consultants and credentialed actuaries on complex Property & Casualty insurance projects
