Job summary

WTW seeks an Actuarial Analyst within its Risk and Analytics Corporate Practice in the United States. The role focuses on reserve studies, pricing analysis and capital management for diverse clients.

You will develop actuarial models, analyze data, and prepare client communications while progressing toward actuarial exams. Ideal candidates hold a mathematics/actuarial science degree, pass actuarial exams, and demonstrate strong technical, analytical, and communication skills with proficiency in

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or Actuarial Science with GPA 3.0+.
  • Passed one or more actuarial exams.
  • Strong technical skills and client service orientation.
  • Excellent Excel skills; proficient with data tools and programming.
  • Experience managing data and automating data tasks (SAS/R/SQL/VBA).
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a team setting.
  • Predictive modeling experience; Emblem and Radar familiarity.
  • Python/Java/C# scripting experience; big data exposure.
  • Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in future.

Responsibilities

  • Develop actuarial models and perform reserve studies.
  • Conduct pricing analysis and capital management tasks.
  • Reconcile and analyze data for client deliverables.
  • Prepare client communications and reports.
