Capital Insurance Group is seeking an Actuarial Analyst to join the Analytics team. You will collaborate with a creative, entrepreneurial group across multiple actuarial disciplines, collecting and communicating results to key stakeholders.

The role requires pursuing or holding actuarial exams, SQL and data skills, and a strong foundation in Excel. This is a hybrid position with offices in Reno, Monterey, and Phoenix.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or possessing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Actuarial Science, CS, data science, economics or statistics.
• 0–2 years actuarial experience.
• Completion of actuarial exams is required; two+ exams preferred.
• SQL and relational databases knowledge is highly preferred.
• Basic knowledge of R, Python or other statistical software is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with data visualization tools is a plus.
• Some VBA in Excel experience is a plus.
• Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
