Milliman’s Atlantic Region P&C practice is hiring an Actuarial Analyst to work on a range of actuarial analyses for insurance and related markets. The role emphasizes data manipulation and complex analysis in Excel, with opportunities to apply programming and statistics skills in R, Python, SAS, and more.

The candidate will pursue CAS credentials with company support while collaborating across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Two actuarial exams passed by time of application (CAS Associate in view)
• Up to two years of actuarial full-time experience in pricing/reserving/modeling for North American/European clients
• Bachelor’s degree or higher with quantitative coursework in actuarial science, math or stats
• Proficiency with Excel and Word
• Experience with statistical/modeling tools such as R, @Risk, VBA, Python, SAS, STATA

Responsibilities

• Perform analyses for ongoing projects with high-quality output
• Manipulate and summarize complex data in Excel; programming, statistics, and databases valued
• Communicate results clearly to clients and team members
• Pursue CAS credentials with support from Milliman
