Milliman’s Atlantic Region P&C practice, with offices in Boston, MA and Burlington, VT, seeks an Actuarial Analyst to join a focused, collaborative team. You will perform analyses for ongoing projects, manipulate data in Excel, and leverage programming, statistics, and databases to deliver high-quality results.

The role supports actuarial credentialing through CAS exams, requires at least two exams and a Bachelor's degree, and offers a hybrid workplace with travel for meetings and team events as

Qualifications

• Two actuarial exams passed and pursuing CAS Associate credential.
• Up to two years of full-time actuarial work experience in pricing, reserving, predictive modeling, capital modeling, enterprise risk management, or reinsurance actuarial topics.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher with quantitative coursework in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, etc.
• Proficiency with Excel and Word.
• Experience with statistical and modeling tools such as R, Python, SAS, STATA, VBA, @Risk.

Responsibilities

• Work autonomously and with project teams to execute key analyses.
• Perform complex data manipulation and summarization in Excel; supplement with programming, stats, and databases.
• Present results and recommendations clearly to clients and internal teams.
