Job summary

Strive Health is seeking an experienced Senior Analyst, Actuarial Underwriting to support actuarial functions and evaluate new business opportunities. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and report to the Senior Director, Actuarial.

The role offers hybrid-remote work with a compensation package including a base salary between $85,500 and $104,000 plus a 10% target annual bonus, and opportunities for professional growth through an actuarial study program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
• 2+ years experience in Actuarial services, Healthcare Economics, or related field.
• Minimum three completed actuarial exams.
• Internet Connectivity - Min Speeds: 3.8Mbps/3.0Mbps (up/down) Latency.
• Ability to travel and be onsite to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with our business development team in developing opportunity assessments for new clients or expansions with existing clients.
• Refine the opportunity assessment model to leverage more data and better operating assumptions.
• Support the contracting team by evaluating the financial impact of key contractual terms.
• Develop client-specific assumptions for new business as part of the broader Finance budgeting process.
• Partner with FP&A to refine operating model assumptions supporting new business evaluation.
• Represent Finance on the Strategic Pricing committee.
• Create and present materials for client presentations, clearly communicating Strive’s impact.
• Partner with key stakeholders across Strive’s Finance, Partner Success, and Growth functions to identify data-driven opportunities to add value to existing and potential partners.
• Present models and deliver insights/expertise to a diverse audience and communicates analyses and results to internal and external partners.
