Job summary

Milliman’s Atlantic Region Property and Casualty practice seeks a Spring or Summer 2027 Actuarial Analyst for a hybrid role based out of the Boston Wakefield, MA or Burlington, VT offices. You will work on client projects, perform complex data analyses, and pursue CAS credentials with support.

The position offers in-person collaboration three days a week and opportunities across multiple markets. The ideal candidate has actuarial exam progress, strong Excel/Word skills, and experience with R,

Qualifications

• Minimum of two actuarial exams passed and pursuing CAS Associate credential.
• Up to two years of professional actuarial fulltime work experience in pricing, reserving, predictive modeling, capital modeling, ERM, or reinsurance topics.
• Bachelor’s degree with quantitative coursework in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, etc.
• Proficient in Excel and Word.
• Experience with statistical/modeling tools: R, Python, SAS, STATA, etc.

Responsibilities

• Execute key analyses for ongoing projects with autonomy and team support.
• Produce high-quality analytical work including data manipulation and summarization in Excel.
• Utilize programming, statistical, and database skills to expand client assignments.
• Collaborate across time zones and communicate results clearly.
• Support credential pursuit with time and resources provided.
