Job summary

Milliman is seeking an Associate Actuary for the Atlantic Region Property and Casualty practice, based out of Boston, MA or Burlington, VT. This hybrid role involves leading complex actuarial projects, guiding analysts, and delivering high-quality client work.

Candidates should hold ACAS, possess R expertise, and have extensive Excel/Word skills. Responsibilities include project oversight, client communication, and collaboration across time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with quantitative coursework in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, etc.
• Associate credential from the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS) by the time of application
• Substantial experience with MS Excel and Word
• Mastery of R for statistical modeling

Responsibilities

• Oversee execution of projects and guide junior staff
• Write reports and support client communication
• Interact with clients and vendors
• Direct, train and provide guidance to Actuarial Analysts
• Draft detailed documentation of data pipelines and project steps
