Milliman, Inc. in the United States is seeking an Actuarial Analyst to work on a range of client projects. You will perform analyses, manipulate data in Excel, and apply programming skills to generate insights. A CAS credential path is supported with time and resources.

Hybrid role based out of the Boston (Wakefield) or Burlington office; travel nationwide may be required. Minimum exams and quantitative degree are expected, along with strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Qualifications

• Two actuarial exams passed and CAS Associate credential in progress.
• Up to two years of professional actuarial full-time work experience.
• Bachelor's degree or higher with quantitative coursework.
• Proficiency with Excel and Word.
• Experience with statistical and modeling tools (R, @Risk, VBA, Python, SAS, STATA).

Responsibilities

• Execute analyses for ongoing projects with project teams and produce high-quality analytical work.
• Handle complex data manipulation and summarization in Excel; use programming, statistics, and databases as needed.
• Present results and recommendations to clients and internal teams.
• Pursue Casualty Actuarial Society credentials with company support.
