(CHR) Community Health Resources, Inc. is seeking a Recovery Support Specialist for Assertive Community Treatment in Manchester, CT. This full-time role involves assisting clients with recovery goals, conducting assessments, and collaborating on treatment plans.

The ideal candidate has lived experience of recovery from mental health or substance use conditions, along with at least 2 years of relevant experience. Candidates should hold a Certified Peer Support & Recovery Specialist certification or similar.

Qualifications

• Lived experience establishing and maintaining recovery from mental health or substance use condition(s).
• 2+ years working with identified populations, preferably as a Certified Peer Support & Recovery Specialist.
• Certification from Advocacy Unlimited or equivalent required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in identifying and advocating their own recovery goals.
• Conduct program-specific assessments and create individualized treatment plans.
• Provide crisis intervention and connect clients to health resources.
