Job summary

Apploi is seeking an enthusiastic Activity Director to plan and lead engaging activities for residents in a faith-based care setting. You will design individualized activity plans for residents with dementia, work with staff to tailor programs, and manage schedules to accommodate diverse needs.

The role emphasizes enriching residents' physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care is a plus; Activity certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Certification in activity planning or programming preferred.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and lead engaging activities for residents.
• Develop individualized activity plans for residents with dementia or cognitive impairments.
• Collaborate with staff to align activities with residents' preferences and abilities.
• Manage schedules for group activities and individual needs.
• Facilitate recreational therapy sessions to enhance residents' quality of life.
• Maintain accurate records of participation and outcomes related to activities.
