Job summary

Apploi is seeking an Assistant Activity Director to lead an ongoing program of activities designed to support residents’ physical, mental, and psychosocial well‑being. You will plan diverse programs and coordinate calendars that engage residents across ages and abilities.

The role involves organizing arts, crafts, music, drama, exercise activities, and family/community engagement, while supervising aides and volunteers and contributing to care plans and budget discussions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or its equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years in social or recreational program.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Group social activities and programs for residents.
• Coordinate spiritual programs and attendance at houses of worship.
• Plan, prepare, and coordinate a monthly activities calendar.
• Oversee Activity Aides and supervise volunteers when appropriate.
• Assess resident needs and contribute to care plan goals.
• Document progress, goals, and attendance for activities.
