Qualifications

• Must be a qualified therapeutic recreation specialist or activities professional by a recognized accrediting body.

Responsibilities

• Direct the development, implementation, supervision and ongoing evaluation of the activities program.
• Ensure the activities program meets the social, psychosocial and therapeutic needs of residents.
• Complete or direct the activity component of the comprehensive assessment.
• Contribute to care plan goals and approaches aligned with residents' skills and interests, per regulations.
