Job summary

Complete Care at Green Knoll in Massachusetts is seeking an Activity Director to enrich residents’ lives through person-centered programs and activities. The role includes developing care plans, coordinating events, and supervising the Activity Department to ensure high-quality recreation and engagement.

Training and support are provided to obtain certification (ADC, CDP, or CTRS/MEPAP); the position offers daily pay options, full benefits for full-time staff, and opportunities for professional

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or certification completed or willingness to obtain with support.
• Experience in long-term care, preferably supervisory role.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a multi-disciplinary team.
• Develop care plans, monitor systems, and meet documentation requirements.
• Knowledge of QA programs, State survey processes, and Residents’ Rights.
• Supervise Activity Department personnel.
• Create, plan, and implement monthly calendars and newsletters.
• Follow budgetary guidelines for the department.
• Develop person-centered large and small group programs, hospitality, and sensory activities.
• Plan and coordinate facility events for residents and staff.
• Strong computer skills and time management.
