Job summary

Complete Care at Green Knoll seeks an experienced Activity Director to lead the activities program in a long-term care setting. The role includes developing care plans, supervising staff, and coordinating monthly calendars and events to enrich residents’ lives.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree or certification with our support for advancement, and strong communication, time management, and computer skills. Opportunities for growth and a compassionate team environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or completion of certification (or willingness to obtain with our support)
• Experience in long-term care, preferably in a supervisory role
• Ability to communicate effectively with a multi-disciplinary team
• Develop care plans, monitor systems, and meet all documentation requirements
• Knowledge of Quality Assurance programs, State survey processes, and Residents’ Rights
• Supervise Activity Department personnel
• Create, plan, and implement monthly calendars and newsletters
• Follow budgetary guidelines for the department
• Develop person-centered large and small group programs, hospitality, and sensory activities
• Plan and coordinate facility events for residents and staff
• Strong computer skills and time management
