Job summary

Complete Care at Shorrock Gardens is seeking an Activity Director to plan and lead engaging activities that promote socialization, creativity, and residents’ well-being. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create meaningful moments and a welcoming environment.

The position supports full-time day shift with opportunities for professional development. The organization emphasizes quality care, resident rights, and a team-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Certification required.
• ADC, CDP or CTRS credential required.
• Minimum 2 years experience in long-term care, in a supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Develop care plans and monitor systems and all documentation requirements.
• Knowledge of Quality Assurance programs, state survey processes, Residents’ Rights.
• Supervise the Recreation Department personnel.
• Create, plan, and implement monthly calendars and newsletters.
• Follow budgetary guidelines for the department.
• Create Facility Event Calendar for staff.
• Create person-centered large and small group programs, hospitality, and sensory activities.
