Creative Solutions in Healthcare - West in El Paso, TX seeks an Activity Assistant to bring joy and engagement to residents. You’ll plan and lead activities, support social connections, and help maintain a warm, inclusive community.

You’ll assess participation, document progress, and work with care teams to meet safety standards while delivering compassionate, person-centered care. The role requires a HS diploma and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Holds a high school diploma (certification required by state regulations).
• Energy, creativity, and excellent communication skills for a caregiving team.
• Genuine passion for working with elderly and disabled individuals.
• Ability to meet physical demands and perform tasks safely.
• Complies with Patient Bill of Rights and workplace safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

Your Impact as an Activity Assistant

As an Activity Assistant, you’ll enrich our residents’ lives daily by:

• Leading Engagement Activities: Planning, organizing, and facilitating group events, one-on-one sessions, and special celebrations.
• Building Connections: Encouraging participation and forming meaningful relationships to ensure residents feel valued.
• Ensuring Safety & Comfort: Assisting residents to and from activities while maintaining a safe and inclusive environment.
• Documenting & Assessing: Tracking activity participation, recording progress, and conducting assessments to meet state and federal guidelines.
• Collaborating with the Team: Supporting residents and teammates by stepping in wherever needed.
