NHS Management, LLC is seeking an Activities Assistant to join our Long-Term Care & Rehabilitation team in Huntsville, AL. You will lead group and individual activities to enhance residents’ quality of life, focusing on engagement, joy, and well‑being.

• Experience with elderly or disabled individuals preferred.
• Creative and enthusiastic personality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer and keyboarding skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to read/write in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing and conducting scheduled group activities.
• Transport residents to and from activities.
• Provide activities and engagement for room-bound residents.
• Record resident participation and responses to activities.
• Assist residents with grooming and participation as needed.
• Deliver and read mail to residents requiring assistance.
• Assist with menu selections where applicable.
• Support volunteer programs and community involvement.
• Help create activity calendars, bulletin boards, and resident room personalization.
• Communicate resident concerns or condition changes to appropriate staff.
• Promote resident dignity, privacy, and respect at all times.
